Before Fame
She learned how to swim at a very young age and began taking advantage of her grandparents' swimming pool as a child. She began serious training as a swimmer at the age of 11 when her family moved to Wurzburg. She won her first German Championship in the open water swim class at the Germany Swimming Championship in 2012 when she was 15 years old.
