At the conclusion of his rookie season, he and the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII. While playing in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles, he recorded six tackles in a 38-35 victory. During his rookie year, he started eight games for the Chiefs, and recorded his first career sack. He also had a sack in the Super Bowl.
