Former defenseman that played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins during his 19-year career in the NHL. He was also given the opportunity to coach the St. Louis Blues during the 1970s.
Before Fame
He first began his professional hockey career in 1951 playing for the Pittsburgh Hornets of the American Hockey League.
Trivia
He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in September of 1986.
