Professional outfielder who spent 12 seasons playing for Major League Baseball teams, including the Baltimore Orioles. He began his sports career with the Orioles youth team in 1955, after his military discharge. His professional career spanned from 1957 to 1968, during which time he also played for the Minnesota Twins, the Los Angeles Angels, the Boston Red Sox, and the Detroit Tigers.
