Best known for helping raise NFL lineman Michael Oher, whom her family adopted after he was neglected by his birth parents. She was featured in Michael Lewis' book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game and portrayed by Sandra Bullock in the 2009 film The Blind Side, which earned Bullock an Academy Award.
