Lee Yoo-young

South Korean actress, entertainer, artist, and performer who ultimately rose to fame for her starring role in the romantic melodrama film Late Spring. Her performance earned her the 2015 Grand Bell Award for Best New Actress.

Before Fame

She graduated from the Department of Acting at Korea National University of Arts in the year 2010. One of her classmates was Kim Go-eun, who went on to star in the 2012 erotic romantic film A Muse.

Trivia

She has earned representation from Ace Factory. In the year 2016, she presented at the Melon Music Awards. She would go on to portray Lee Joo-young in the KBS Drama Special "Traces of Love," a role for which she was named Best Actress in a One-Act/Special/Short Drama at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards.

Family Life

She dated fellow actor Kim Joo-hyuk from 2016 until his untimely death in the year 2017.
