Screenwriter, producer, and director known for creating the Netflix series Sex Education. She has written over half of the episodes of the series. When the series was picked up, she had no previous big credits to her name. The first series was released in January 2019. 

Before Fame

At age 14, she moved to Australia after her parents' marriage ended. In 2007, she received a BA in Film and Television from the Victorian College of the Arts. In 2012, she earned an MA in screenwriting at the National Film and Television School in England. 

Trivia

She wrote multiple short films such as Gone to Earth, Radiance, and Pregnant Pause. In 2017, she was shortlisted for the British Bruntwood Prize for King Brown, her first full-length play.

Her father is British theatre director Trevor Nunn. Her mother is Australian actress Sharon Lee-Hill.
