Canadian freestyle snowboarder and Olympian known for winning the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships, winning silver at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and winning a gold medal at the 2021 World Championships. She posts snowboarding, surfing, and traveling content on her popular laurieblouin1 Instagram page. 

Before Fame

She began training with her coach at age 13 after messaging him on Facebook. She was granted permission to train on his property, and at one point she rented a room out so she could train more. She won her first major competition after winning the junior world title in slopestyle in 2013 when she was 16.

She also enjoys dirt biking, skateboarding, and trampolining. She has been sponsored by O'Neill, Nitro, Sport Radical, 100%, and Swatch. She is a dog owner and lover. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Stoneham, Quebec. She began snowboarding when she was six years old after her brother introduced her to the sport.

She would love to snowboard with Julia Marino if she could snowboard with another snowboarder. Justin Trudeau congratulated her on her silver medal win in 2018.
