After her first year in college, she moved to Chicago and began working in the Piven Theater Workshop.

She studied acting at British American Dramatic Academy in London and participated in workshops in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Family Life

She married Paul Macherey in 2002. The couple had two daughters, Lola and Nala, but divorced in 2012. She has a brother named Andy.
