Attorney who became well-known as a legal analyst for CNN. In 2017, she began hosting a talk radio show called The Laura Coates Show on SiriusXM's Urban View. Prior to her media career, she was a trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice during George W. Bush and Barack Obama's administrations. She was also an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.
