Sex educator, author, and relationship therapist best known for hosting the OWN series In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman. She has also made regular appearances on The Dr. Oz Show and previously appeared on Showtime's Sexual Healing.

Before Fame

After earning her master's in clinical social work, she went on to achieve her doctorate in health education with a focus in human sexuality from New York University.

Trivia

In addition to her many books, she also released her own line of sex toys available through her eponymous website.

Family Life

Her sister, Dr. Jennifer Berman, is a urologist and together they authored the book FOR WOMEN ONLY: A Revolutionary Guide for Reclaiming your Sex Life. She and her husband have three sons.
