She is from Atlanta, Georgia. Her mom was named Bettie Ann. She is a member of the Anointed Pace Sisters, nicknamed the First Family of Gospel, including her two sisters, Duranice and LaShun.

She has done many theater productions in Atlanta. Some of those include "Footloose: The Musical" and "The Wiz", which starred Diana Ross and Michael Jackson in the movie version.
