Screen actress and multi-hyphenate filmmaker who starred in feature films such as A Dark Truth, King of Sorrow, and Hearts of War. She both starred in and produced the AOF Film Festival-nominated 2013 comedy film Hit It. She also starred in and co-wrote the horror film Pray for Me and the multi award-winning short drama film Viaticum. 

Before Fame

She began studying dance and performing onstage at the age of 9. She went on to study biochemistry at McGill University in pursuit of a career in the medical field. However, after enrolling in drama classes at the University of Toronto, she discovered her enthusiasm for performing and went on to obtain training in the internationally acclaimed Meisner Technique.

Her short film Viaticum was the recipient of countless accolades including honors from the Southern Shorts Awards, the Mindfield Film Festival, and Indie Short Fest. She has also earned achievements for her performing career, including Best Actress Awards from the Ajijic International Film Festival and the Action on Film International Film Festival.

Family Life

She and her husband, filmmaker Damian Lee, married on October 19, 1997. Together, they are the parents of one child.

Associated With

She participated in competitive figure skating throughout her youth and later went on to star as Kelly Dane in the 2016 figure skating film Ice Girls, which she also wrote and produced. The comedy movie also featured Michaela du ToitElvis Stojko, and Natasha Henstridge.
