Before Fame

She attended the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. She went on to earn an executive MBA from Penn State University. 

Trivia

She has done volunteer work on behalf of women's issues. In December 2009, she released her first full-length album Intuition. 

Family Life

She was born in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Olumide Phillips. She later relocated to Lagos, Nigeria with her family, where she was raised. She married Labo Gbadamosi in 2005, and they share two daughters who were born in the United States.
