Pageant queen most well known for representing her home nation in the 2006 Miss Universe pageant. She was awarded 1st Runner-up and won Best National Costume.

She was studying educational philosophy at Sophia University while competing in the Miss Universe pageant.

Trivia

Following her pageant career, she began working as a brand spokesperson and reporter for a leading fashion magazine in Japan.

She was born in Naha, Japan to Yukari and Shigeru Chibana.
