Ghanaian-born British actor known for his work on Ghost Stories, The Commuter, Mary Poppins Returns, Gwen, and Wonka, as well as his work in the superhero film Justice League. He has amassed over 70 on-screen acting credits throughout his ongoing career. 

Before Fame

He graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2000. He began his acting career on television in 2002 on an episode of Judge John Deed. He began also taking theater roles beginning in 2005. 

Trivia

He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 2019 for playing Ike Turner in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. He is the narrator for the audiobook versions of Ben Aaronovitch's River of London books (2014). 

Family Life

He was born in Accra, Ghana. He moved to Surrey, England as a very young child and grew up there.
