About

Pop singer who became known as a member of one of Cube Entertainment's largest South Korean boy bands, Pentagon. They are popular for their self-titled debut mini-album, Pentagon, including their hits "Gorilla," "Young," and "Find Me." In August of 2022, he released his own single album called Pose. 

Before Fame

He and his bandmates were initially formed through the Mnet survival show Pentagon Maker in 2016.

Trivia

His group's album Pentagon peaked at number seven on the Gaon Album Chart in 2016. Kino can speak Korean, Japanese, and English. He made an appearance in Rain's music video for the song titled, 'Rain Effect'.

Family Life

His real name is Kang Hyung-gu but he is better known by his stage name Kino.
