About

Reality star, nurse, businesswoman, and keynote speaker who rose to prominence starring on the OWN reality television series Love & Marriage: Huntsville. As a real estate agent and licensed broker, she founded her own brokerage, Scott Imperium Property Solutions. She also owns a catering business called K&K Cuisine and published a recipe e-book called Kimmi's Kitchen.

Before Fame

She graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in nursing. Prior to appearing on Love and Marriage: Huntsville, she worked as a registered nurse and was an essential frontline worker during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Trivia

After receiving a diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer - one of the most aggressive forms of the disease - in 2022, she chose to share her journey on LAMH to raise awareness about the disparities in breast cancer care within the Black community. Following a year of intensive treatment, she was officially declared cancer-free. However, she continues her advocacy by collaborating with organizations such as Sisters Network Inc. and the Ora Lee Foundation, both of which are led by people of color.

Family Life

She married her husband Maurice Scott, who owns the credit counseling company Credit1USA, on the first season of LAMH. She is the mother of a son named Jaylin and the stepmother to Scott's children, Maurice Jr., D'Shalya, and Tatyana.
