Trivia
After setting out to travel aboard an experimental submarine designed by aerospace engineer Peter Madsen, she went missing just outside of Copenhagen. Authorities later found her body in the water outside the Copenhagen harbor 11 days after she boarded.

She was first reported missing by her then boyfriend. Since her death, her mother Ingrid has posted condolences to a variety of social media platforms.
