Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi who was appointed to the role in March 2023. He is the eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. He is also the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

He is married to Sheikha Fatima bint Suroor Al Nahyan. Together they have two daughters and one son, the names of which are Shamma bint Khaled Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, and Salama bint Khaled Al Nahyan.
