Before Fame

Growing up, his passion was football. As he reached the end of high school, he discovered his love for singing. He wrote his first song in 2014. In 2016, he won a scholarship to attend Nyundo School of Art and Music, where he formed a singing group called YEMBA VOICE. After graduating, he began his solo career. He began posting to his KENNYSOLMUSIC YouTube channel in February 2019. His first video features his song "Njye Nawe." 

Trivia

In June 2022, he performed live in Kigali, Rwanda. In July 2023, he traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania. He enjoys playing guitar and drums. In 2021, he received the Isango na Muzika award for best video of the year. He won Best Male Artist at the 2022 Kiss Summer Awards. He has received a YouTube Silver Play Button for reaching 100,000 subscribers on the platform. The 2023 Oda Awards named him the Most Listened Artist.

He has been married to his wife. In April 2024, he announced that his wife was expecting. He has three brothers.
