Before Fame
She moved from Lithuania to Israel to Vancouver growing up, ultimately settling in the Canadian city. She was a successful dancer in her youth, winning four Vancouver British Columbia Dancesport Championships from 1998 to 2002.

She married dancer Klaus Kongsdal in 2012. The couple welcomed their first child in 2016.
