Television producer and actress known for creating the TV Land series Teachers, in which she also played the role of Mary Louise Bennigan. She portrayed Marissa in the web series Dog Moms. She has also appeared in series including Key & Peele and Go-Go Boy Interrupted.

Before Fame

She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois.

Trivia

She was a member of the improvisational comedy group The Katydids. The Chicago group consisted of six comedians whose names were all derived from Katherine. Other members of the group were Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert and Kathryn Renée Thomas.
