Olympic runner that primarily competes in the women's 3000-meters, 5000-meters, 10,000-meters and the steeplechase events. She has raced at the European Championships, European Indoor Championships, European Cross Country Championships and the World Championships. She is a member of the Norwegian women's national team.
Before Fame
As a kid, she competed at the World Youth Championships. In 2007, she placed bronze in the 2000-meters steeplechase events while there.
Trivia
She won her first career gold medal as a professional during the 2021 European Cross Country Championships. She also won gold medals at the 2022 and 2023 European Cross Country Championships.

She grew up living with her family in Ålesund, Norway.
