American chef, T.V. star, cookbook author, and kids baking competition host from South Carolina. She rose to fame in the year 2015 through her "New Gullah Supper Club" which was a pop-up, Gullah-themed traveling supper club whose focus was spreading Gullah food culture.

She was a social worker. She auditioned for the Food Network but did not make the cut the first time around. 

Trivia

In the year 2019, she was the star of the Food Network reality show titled "Delicious Miss Brown" in which she shared her recipes and showcased her family and life story. In the year 2022, she released her cookbook titled "The Way Home," and you can find her on Instagram under kardeabrown.

Family Life

In December of 2023, she posted a picture of herself with her grandma on Instagram. In November of 2023, she shared that she and her partner were moving into their new home.
