New Zealand professional mixed martial artist who is best known for competing in the Flyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As of August 1, 2022, he is #3 in the UFC flyweight rankings.

Before Fame

He started practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of 10. After being bullied for his small stature while attending Mount Albert Grammar School, he started training in mixed martial arts as a whole. He attended the Unitec Institute of Technology and shortly after dropped out.

Trivia

In 2016, he competed in The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions and appeared in the 24th edition of the reality television series The Ultimate Fighter. His Instagram account kaikarafrance has garnered 250,000 followers. 

Family Life

He and his wife Chardae have a son named Cobi. In February 2023, they announced they were expecting a baby. 

Associated With

In July 2022, he faced former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno in a rematch for the UFC Flyweight Championship, where he lost the fight via TKO in the third round.
