Rapper, social media personality, and self-described meme artist known for creating viral memes and incorporating meme-making into his music. He is known for the hit song "I'm Depressed" and for creating and organizing the touring event Shrek Rave. 

Before Fame

He started making music in 2011 using the name Kash Ketchum before he changed his name to Ka5sh. He joined an Internet subcommunity known as Weird Facebook, where he discovered internet artist and musician Alfred English. Alfred English's memes inspired him to try making his own and he started getting a following through them. 

Trivia

He had a job selling appliances before pursuing his rap and social media career. He once gave a lecture at UCLA about internet culture, social media, and the power of memes. This lecture was followed by a meme-making workshop which taught students how to create viral content.

He was born and grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
