June Jumbalaya

Drag performer known as a contestant in the 14th season of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2022. She was known for her dance moves including kicks and splits. Her entrance quote was "Grab a fork ladies, Jambalaya is served." She was the third eliminated but placed last in her season.

Before Fame

She studied dance in college. She adopted her drag name while she was in a dance class. Her teacher asked her birthday month and the last thing she ate. She replied, "June and Jambalaya."

Trivia

She started to craft her drag persona while watching The Real Housewives franchise. On Drag Race, she created an animal-inspired wedding dress. She openly discussed her struggle with body confidence. 

Family Life

She was born Tyron'e Porter in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born into a creative family. Her grandmother was a talented seamstress.

While on Drag Race she wore an Emilio Pucci jumpsuit. Other contestants in her season included Daya Betty and Orion Story.
