Before Fame

Though he began singing at the age of fourteen, he was convinced he wouldn't succeed and instead turned his attention into DJing. He eventually picked up the piano and the dhol.

His father is from Pakistan and influenced his musical style through his love of Bhangra and Kawali style music. His mother also influenced his music taste, indulging in artists from Enrique Iglesias to Ricky Martin.
