Trinidadian dancer and choreographer known as the "Queen of Limbo" and "First Lady of Limbo." She popularized limbo dancing in the 1950s. Her dance group performed at many hotels, clubs and restaurants in Trinidad. In 1957, she appeared in the Hollywood film Fire Down Below starring Rita Hayworth.

She began dancing in 1947.
Trivia
She appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. Her dance group toured internationally, visiting the United States, Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. She retired from performing with her group in 1972. She worked as a choreographer into the 2000s.
Family Life
Her brother Irwin introduced her to Boscoe Holder's dance troupe.
