Chef and author whose Palestinian cookbooks Palestine on a Plate and Baladi have won her much acclaim. Palestine on a Plate grew out of a popular blog of the same name.
Before Fame
She was running a Palestinian deli called Baity Kitchen when she got the idea to start a blog that featured Palestinian recipes.
Trivia
She's been based in the UK and graduated from Leith's School of Food and Wine. She also worked at iconic restaurants including Pengelley's, Daphne's and Papillon.
Family Life
She is of Palestinian descent and many of the recipes featured in her books came from her mother, aunts and other family members.
