Spanish professional road racing cyclist who is known for his work with the UCI WorldTeam Movistar Team. He specializes as a sprinter and is also known for having ridden for the Caisse d'Epargne team as well.
Before Fame
His amateur career started in 2005 with the Liberty Seguros-Wurth team and he quickly turned professional in 2006 for the team. He was then selected in 2012 to compete in the Tour de France where he gained international attention. After a crash in the third stage of the tour, he was forced to drop out but returned and finished the following year.
Trivia
He is known for having placed first at the National Road Championships in 2016 and also won the first stage of the Tour of Qatar in 2015.
Family Life
He was born and raised in Cieza, Murcia, Spain and had a brother named Mariano Rojas who was also a professional cyclist for the ONCE team.
