José Vega

Peruvian politician who serves as the Secretary-General of the political party Union of Peru. He is also a congressman representing Lima. He ran for president in the 2021 election.

Before Fame

He worked at Banco Comercial from 1979 to 1984 and then Banco Popular from 1985 to 1992. He also served as union leader of the Federation of Bank Employees of Peru from 1984 to 1991. 

Trivia

He co-founded Union of Peru in 1994. He was elected as a congressman to represent Lima in 2006 on the Union for Peru-Peruvian Nationalist Party ticket.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Lima, Peru.
