Jorge Vilda

About

Head coach of the Spanish women's national team that first began coaching the squad in 2015. Prior to being head coach of the Spanish national team, he coached the Spanish U17 and U19 teams. In 2023, he began coaching Morocco's Women's team. 

Before Fame

As a kid, he played within the Barcelona and Real Madrid youth ranks. He later began his professional coaching career as an assistant for the Spanish women's youth national team. 

Trivia

While coaching Team Spain, he led his squad to a gold medal during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. After defeating Team England in the gold medal match 1-0, he and his club captured the first ever FIFA Women's World Cup in Spain's history.
