Singer and multi-instrumentalist who first rose to fame as a member of the Brazilian pop group P9. After the release of their self-titled debut album in 2013, he endeavored to pursue his solo career.

Before Fame

His first instrument was the tambourine followed by the guitar. Into fifth grade, he was a member of a samba band. Then, at sixteen, he began working as a model and performing in theatre.

Trivia

In October 2013, the P9 single "My Favorite Girl" won Song of the Year at the Nick Awards.

Family Life

He was born to José Renato and Fabiana Couto in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has a sister named Jennifer and a brother named Rafael. He is in a relationship with Sarah Poncio, with whom he has sons named Jose, João and Josué.

In the early days of P9, he and the rest of his bandmates opened internationally for Justin Bieber.
