British pop singer and screen actor. He is perhaps best known for his 1961 United Kingdom hit single "Johnny Remember Me."

Before Fame

He made his acting debut in a 1960 television adaptation of the popular Biggles adventure books. Shortly thereafter, he began his music career by releasing a cover of "Tell Laura I Love Her."

Trivia

He appeared in numerous films and television shows during the 1960s, including The Great Escape, Every Day's a Holiday, and Guns at Batasi.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex, England.
