Record executive most recognized for having become the chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M Records in 2012. He famously signed acts including Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, and Paramore with his former label Fueled by Ramen, which was eventually purchased by Warner Music Group. He later managed platinum artists like Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran when he was the co-president of Warner Music Group's Elektra Records. During his tenure with Interscope, he has produced hit songs by countless artists and personally signed both Selena Gomez and Tame Impala.
Before Fame
His earliest venture in the music industry was as a music promoter during his high school years. He regularly made mix CDs featuring songs by his favorite artists and sold them to friends as a way of introducing them to new performers.
