Before Fame
In 2005, he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Industrial Design. At RISD, he met Brian Chesky, who would later become his roommate and co-founder of Airbnb. He also took supplementary business-related classes at Brown University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology while attending RISD.
