Actor who is known for his many different roles on a wide range of television programs. He is best recognized for having portrayed Ike Godsey on the 1972 television program The Waltons and for having appeared as several characters on the series Mister Ed.
Before Fame
Prior to acting, he served in the military in Korea. He then started running several real estate companies before he made his acting debut in 1950 in the film The Sound of Fury. He gained further attention in 1958 when he appeared in the horror anthology series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Trivia
He is also known for being a writer and is credited with having written the screenplay for an episode of the television series Zoobilee Zoo.
Family Life
He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He married Louise A. Teecher in June of 1969.
