About
Celebrity chef and television personality known primarily for appearing as a judge on MasterChef Australia. His former restaurant, Orana, was named Restaurant of the Year by Gourmet Traveller Magazine, and it was also named Australia's Restaurant of the Year by the Good Food Guide before its eventual closing in October 2020. In 2018, he was named Australia's Hottest Chef in The Australian magazine. His nonprofit, The Orana Foundation, won the coveted Basque Culinary World Prize in July 2018.

He began working in the culinary industry as a 13-year-old dishwasher and a part-time cook.
Trivia
He made his television debut in 2014 during the sixth season of MasterChef Australia as a judge and chef. After season eleven, he began hosting. He died at the age of 46 from unknown causes.
