Before Fame
He was fourteen when he began writing poems and composing music. He was also a member of the band Merry Youngs which emulated stars like Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry.
Trivia
During the 1970s, he was an anti-fascist activist and was forced to flee Spain at risk of arrest, possibly by his own father, and persecution for his anti-Francisco Franco ideals.
Family Life
He is the second son of Adela Sabina del Campo and Jerónimo Martínez Gallego, a policeman. He began a relationship with Jimena Coronado in 1999.
