Queen of Castille in 1504 and Queen of Aragon in 1516. She became known as Joanna the Mad due to her mental illness, for which she was taken to the convent of Tordesillas to live in seclusion.

She first became heiress to the throne after her older siblings and mother died one after the other.
Trivia
She had strawberry-blonde hair, a fair complexion and brown eyes. She was married in a double wedding alongside her brother.
Family Life
Her father was Ferdinand II of Aragon and her mother was Isabella I of Castile. She married Philip the Handsome Duke of Burgundy in 1496. She had six children of her own.
Associated With
One of her sons, Charles V, would become the Holy Roman Emperor.
