Former four-star recruit who initially enrolled in the University of Michigan as a freshman in the fall of 2022. Following that season, he was named a member of the Third Team All-Big Ten as well as the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. He was eventually selected by the Miami Heat with the 11th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
