Head men's basketball coach that was hired by Stanford University in 2016. Prior to Stanford, he coached at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2015, he led UAB to a C-USA regular season and C-USA tournament title while also being named Coach of the Year.
Before Fame
He originally began his collegiate basketball career at UC Berkeley. He then transferred to the University of Kansas in 1997.
Trivia
While playing for Team USA's collegiate men's national team, he won a gold medal at the 1995 Summer Universiade tournament in Fukuoka, Japan. He and his teammates defeated Team Japan in the gold medal match.

He lives along with his wife, Mindy, and their children. He and his wife initially got married in 1999.
