Growing up she was a gymnast. She continued in that sport until she had a bad experience with a coach and quit. Then she went on to compete in parkour and was a two-time Parkour Cup Champion for the USA.

Even though she has a part in Black Panther 2, she was also the stunt double for Danai Gurira who played Okoye in both films. There is a picture of the two of them from the set of the film. 

Family Life

She lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up with her parents and a younger sister. After her little sister was born, her mom suffered from Bell's Palsy, a facial paralysis disease.
