Guitarist most well known as a member of the now-defunct rock band The Black Crowes. After leaving the band in 1991, he formed the band Bitter Pills and would go on to join Bucky Covington's band after American Idol.

He co-founded The Black Crowes in 1989 with brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, Johnny Colt, and Steve Gorman.

He was featured on only one The Black Crowes album, Shake Your Money Maker, which released in 1990.
Family Life
A drummer before he was a guitarist, his parents happily steered him into playing the guitar during his teens to avoid the noise of drums.
