Jason Johannisen

About

Australian rules footballer who has been playing for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL) since the year 2012. He was chosen by the Western Bulldogs in the 2011 rookie draft. He was part of the winning Western Bulldogs team in the 2016 AFL Grand Final against the Sydney Swans. 

Before Fame

At the young age of eight, he moved with his family to Perth, Western Australia. In Perth, he began playing rugby union with the Southern Lions Rugby Club before eventually switching over to Australian rules football. 

Trivia

In October of 2018, he attended the Amsterdam Dance Event music festival. In January of 2019, he spent some time at Bondi Beach in Australia. He stands 5'11" tall and weighs just over 180 pounds.

Family Life

In October of 2022, he got married to his wife Logan Johannisen. Together, they have a daughter and a son.

He and fellow footballer Marcus Bontempelli have both been teammates while playing for the Western Bulldogs.
