Jason Beghe

About

Famous for his starring roles in the television series Chicago P.D. and To Have & to Hold. He is also known for his appearances in episodes of Chicago Hope, Melrose Place, and Picket Fences. Other film credits include roles in G.I. Jane and Monkey Shines: An Experiment In Fear.

Before Fame

Before making his big screen debut in the Susan Sarandon film Compromising Positions, Beghe pursued modeling work in Europe.

Trivia

Once a member of and "poster boy" for the Church of Scientology, Beghe left the organization in 2007 and subsequently became a public critic of his former faith.

Family Life

He married Angie Janu in 2000. One of his three siblings, Francesca Beghe, had a successful career as a singer and songwriter.

Associated With

While attending New York's Collegiate School, he met his lifelong friend David Duchovny. It was Beghe, in fact, who encouraged the future X-Files and Californication star to leave academia and pursue acting.
