Jarren Duran

About

Professional outfielder who was drafted by the Boston Red Sox during the seventh round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. He was rated a top 100 prospect in the Minor League and was named to the 2019 All-Star Futures Game. He made his professional Major League debut on July 17, 2021. 

Before Fame

He attended California State University, Long Beach where he finished fourth in program history with 49 stolen bases. 

Trivia

In his first career at-bat, he collected his first major-league hit against Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees, and just two days later on July 19, 2021, he hit his first major-league home run against Ross Stripling as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays. 

Family Life

He is the son of Octavio and Dena Duran.
