Slovenian professional rock climber and Olympian known for winning multiple competition lead climbing and competition bouldering events. She became the first-ever female Olympic gold medalist in climbing in 2021. She is also known for being featured in the Netflix documentary The Wall - Climb for Gold, which was released in 2022.
Before Fame
She began climbing at 7 years old and competed in her first national competition at 8 years old. She won her first major competition in bouldering at the 2013 European Youth Championships. She began winning most rock climbing events she competed in which eventually led her to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
